Jianfeng Peak and Bawangling National Forest Reserves are located here, harboring vast tracts of thick lush rainforests, home to many rare plants and animals such as the highly endangered Hainan Gibbon, clouded leopards, cobras, Asiatic black bears, pangolins, and many more.
