Here, the lush original growth rainforest will make you forget about the worries of ordinary life as you lose yourself in the wonders of nature. There are so many different scenic views on the mountain, including the spectacular Fengguoshu Waterfall, known as “Hainan’s #1 Waterfall”. The group of falls covers 1.5 kilometers, and the largest plunges down from a height of 150 meters, thundering like a huge bolt of silk endlessly dropping out of the sky. The sight is sure to take your breath away!

Taste the Subtle Flavors of Hainan Tea in Tea Valley

Location: Mao’an Town, Baoting

Hainan has a long history of producing tea, and Qiongshan tea buds and other Hainan varieties were well known as far back as the Ming Dynasty period. Interested in Hainan’s tea culture? Feel the Springtime Warmth of Nantian Hot Springs Resort

It’s the perfect place for a swim, for a relaxing afternoon sunbathing on the white sandy beach, to take an amazing photo, and to enjoy the beauty of Hainan.

Travel tips:

  1. The boardwalks in the tropical rainforest can be slippery, and there are lots of mosquitoes, so don’t forget your bug spray and make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes, such as long sleeves and sneakers.

  2. Make sure you’ve got a towel and some clothing ready to change into after swimming so you don’t need to stay in your wet things.

  3. Some locations require tickets for entry, so be sure to plan ahead.
