Wuzhizhou Island 蜈支洲岛




Located in the crystal clear waters of the South China Sea, just a short distance from Sanya, 1.48 square kilometer Wuzhizhou Island is a major water sport and scuba diving destination.


Wuzhizhou Island’s beaches are fantastic, only surpassed by the colorful underwater offshore scenery, where tropical fish glide through vibrant coral reefs.



On the island itself, over 2,700 plant varieties grow, including exotic flowers and trees such as the Dragon Blood Tree, thought to be the oldest plant species in the world.


Attractions on the island include Lover's Bridge, Sunrise Rock, the Gold Turtle, Lover's Island, and the Well of Life.There are hotels, restaurants, and shops on the island for the convenience of visitors.



The ferry to the island runs every 20 minutes between 7:40 AM – 6 PM and takes 10 minutes to arrive at the island.
